Growing up on the land Wade has always had a passion for the ocean, spending his holidays on the water. After completing a trade as a mechanic Wade travelled the world where his passion for the commercial marine industry grew.
Having spent many years working as a marine engineer on various Australian coastal trading vessels, Wade transitioned into a shore-based marine, technical and safety manager role in which he gained invaluable experience and knowledge in all facets of vessel operations, surveys, dockings, and new builds, specifically in the transhipment, work boat and towage sector.
With over 15 years practical industry knowledge and experience gained working on vessels and managing vessels Wade is well positioned to advise and execute all facets of marine consulting, marine surveying, and marine project management.
In addition to above Wade is still active in marine engineering, vessel management and can provide expert advice to vessel owners/operators ensuring compliance, best industry practices and cost-effective solutions.
Wade is an AMSA accredited marine surveyor and certified commercial marine surveyor with the Australian Institute of Marine Surveyors.
Wade is an active member in the maritime industry in Australia, he and his family live in Fremantle, Western Australia.
